2027: APC Reopens Electronic Membership Registration
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its electronic membership registration exercise nationwide ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party said the exercise will commence on Monday, August 31, 2026, and will be conducted across all wards in the country.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, urged party stakeholders, supporters and members, both old and new, to participate in the membership electronic registration exercise.

The party said existing members are expected to validate their membership details, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and formally join the APC.
According to the APC, applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN) to participate in the exercise.
The party said the electronic registration exercise is aimed at digitising its membership register and improving the integrity and accuracy of membership records across the country.
Also, APC said the initiative would provide more efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, while promoting internal democracy within the party.
The ruling party added that the exercise would strengthen its commitment to democratic innovation and modernise its membership management system ahead of the 2027 general elections.
APC urged its members and supporters nationwide to take advantage of the exercise and participate in the registration or validation process.
