Ex-Acting APC Nat’l Chairman, Loses Elder Sister

Former Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and one-time National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the party, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, has announced the death of his elder sister, Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta.

Madam Eta was said to have passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, leaving family members, friends and associates in deep mourning.

In a statement personally signed by him, the APC chieftain described the loss as painful and heartbreaking, noting that his late sister was not only a beloved member of the family but also a source of love, wisdom and strength.

“It is with a deeply heavy heart and profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved elder sister, Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta, who departed this life in the early hours of today,” he stated.

Eta, who served as Acting National Chairman of the APC and previously held office as National Vice Chairman (South-South), said the death of his sister had created a huge vacuum in the family.

According to him, “Her passing has left our family deeply heartbroken. She was not only my elder sister but also a cherished member of our family whose presence, love, wisdom and strength meant so much to us.”

The former APC national officer expressed gratitude to God for the life lived by the deceased, saying the family would continue to cherish the memories and positive impact she made during her lifetime.

“At a time like this, words are difficult to find. We can only thank God for the life she lived, the memories she left behind, and the impact she made on those who knew and loved her,” he added.

He appealed to friends, political associates, well-wishers and members of the APC family across the country to remember the family in their prayers as they grieve.

“On behalf of my family, I sincerely request the prayers, support and understanding of friends, associates and well-wishers as we mourn this painful loss and come to terms with her passing,” the statement read.

Eta disclosed that details of the funeral arrangements would be announced at a later date.

Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta is survived by children, relatives and loved ones.

The family prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
